In AvtoVAZ developed a prototype replacement for mini cars Oka. Currently the vehicle will be labeled “Project 11,174″ or Oka-3. The new model is produced on the platform of the Lada Kalina and is set out in the Scientific and Technical Center of AvtoVAZ. A prototype of the new generation of Oka is 80 percent common parts with the five-door hatchback Lada Kalina. The roof, the profile and rear of the Oka new wholly original. The doors had been extended by 150 mm in comparison with the previous model of the Oka and the company say that they will be used in three-door version of Kalina. Oka new length is 3650 millimeters (200 mm shorter than Kalina, but with 400 mm longer than the previous generation of Oka), the width is 1700 millimeters (280 millimeters compared to the previous model), the height of 1500 millimeters (with 100 millimeters more than the current model) and the wheelbase is 2320 millimeters. The mass of new Oka is 980 kilograms, which is 100 kilograms lighter than that of Kalina. Oka 3 will be a petrol engine volume 1.4 liters and 16 valves with 89 hp power and will be combined with a manual transmission with five degrees. Has not yet decided on mass production of Oka 3, but AvtoVAZ said that the chances of a serial version are very high.
